Wendi M. Freeman

Hi, my name is Wendi. I am a proud Northwestern University graduate and received a law degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law (Go Big 10!).

After gaining valuable experience in banking, oil and gas, litigation, bankruptcy, and family law, I now focus on helping clients create comprehensive and personalized estate plans. I hope to be able to guide you through the world of estate planning with a smile.

I like people and I like solving problems. Estate planning involves a lot of pieces, like a puzzle. Each client is different, as is each solution. I truly enjoy putting the pieces together to find the custom-fit solution to each client's puzzle. I am dedicated to making your estate planning journey smooth and stress-free.

I am originally from Coshocton, Ohio, but moved to sunny Charleston as soon as I could! My father and I shared a practice for over 16 years, Freeman & Freeman, where I received great experience and mentorship. After several years as a solo practitioner, Dana and I formed Freeman|Wine, LLC in 2013.

I am a member of WealthCounsel, the Estate Planning Council of Charleston, South Carolina Bar Association, the Charleston Bar Association, and the South Carolina Women Lawyers Association.

I share a home in Mt. Pleasant with my husband (Bill) and crazy, but lovable Aussiedoodle, Norman who is an expert fetcher, puddle roller, and mud connoisseur. We enjoy the beach, reading, and traveling.
